CLARA LE BOUAR RELEASES NEW TRACK ‘SILVER’
Paris-based singer-songwriter Clara Le Bouar has released her latest single, Silver, a heartfelt ode to female friendship wrapped in a dreamy alt-pop soundscape.
Inspired by the profound bond she shares with her best friend, Silver captures the essence of deep, platonic love—a connection that endures heartbreak, milestones, and life’s challenges. With weightless, honeyed vocals, Le Bouar paints an intimate portrait of sisterhood, celebrating the unwavering support and love between close friends.
“Silver is more than just a song,” Le Bouar explains. “I wrote it for my best friend during one of the hardest times in her life. Through the lyrics, I tried to capture her essence and our journey together. Lines like ‘Pretty girl in the mirror, black lace and silver’ reflect how I see her—elegant, resilient, and always adorned with her silver jewelry, a contrast to my gold. To me, she is like silver: luminous, strong, and precious.”
Le Bouar’s musical journey began as a deeply personal endeavor—one she initially hesitated to pursue. However, songwriting quickly became second nature, allowing her to process emotions and craft a body of work that resonated beyond her own experiences. As she started sharing her music online, her delicate and introspective sound drew attention, earning praise and curiosity from listeners and collaborators alike.
In August 2024, Le Bouar released her debut EP, Songs, a seven-track collection that showcased her intimate storytelling and emotive style. Blending soft, romantic moments with melancholic reflections, the record invited listeners into her world—akin to flipping through an old journal or engaging in a late-night conversation.
Despite her recent arrival on the music scene, Le Bouar has quickly emerged as an artist to watch. Her debut single, Stupid Song, has already amassed nearly 200,000 streams on Spotify, cementing her ability to craft songs that resonate on a personal level.
With Silver gaining traction, it marks another milestone for the rising artist, solidifying her as a compelling new voice in alt-pop.
