BLUSHER KICKSTART NEW ERA WITH ELECTRIFYING SINGLE ‘RACER’

Australian pop trio Blusher launch a bold new chapter with their pulsating single ‘Racer’, following a breakout year that saw them sell out headline shows in London and Australia, open for Kylie Minogue at BST Hyde Park, and perform at London Pride. They also toured the US, UK, and Europe alongside Daði Freyr, adding to past live dates with Tove Lo and Aurora.

First teased during their support slot for Sugababes’ Australian tour, ‘Racer’ sees Blusher go full throttle with euphoric electronic soundscapes and slick pop hooks. A tribute to their tight-knit bond, the track transforms fleeting club euphoria into a powerful expression of friendship.

“Being a Racer means being your own stunt person, the main character of your own life,” the trio explains. “It’s about starting the dance floor while everyone else worries what people think.”

Written after an impromptu LA rave—where they danced under a bridge as fireworks lit up the sky—the track captures that raw, unfiltered exhilaration. “We want ‘Racer’ to be the song people turn up loud when they need to feel unstoppable,” they add.

Blusher’s world is part teen rom-com, part 2AM dance floor. Jade, Lauren, and Miranda share vocals, swap instruments on stage, and co-write and produce their music—blending candid lyricism with dreamy synths and deep basslines. From late-night introspection to all-out euphoria, they’re crafting the soundtrack to their own main-character moment.
