THE ACES UNVEIL NEW SINGLE ‘JEALOUS’

US alternative-pop quartet The Aces have unveiled their latest single, “Jealous,” a groove-infused anthem primed to kickstart the party season. Driven by a funky guitar riff, pulsating kickdrums, and falsetto harmonies, the track exudes unshakable confidence and was produced by the band’s lead guitarist, Katie Henderson. “Jealous” follows the release of “The Magic,” which dropped in September as the band’s most pop-forward offering to date. The two tracks signal the band’s most daring and self-assured era yet.

“‘Jealous’ is about being the coolest person in the room,” the band explained. “Many times, that comes with adoration and envy, and we wanted to paint the picture of having unshakable confidence throughout all of it.”

These releases come after the success of I’ve Loved You For So Long, the group’s third studio album, which was celebrated for its nostalgic reflection on childhood, closeted love, and the intersection of religious trauma with identity. The album gained widespread acclaim for its emotional honesty and lush production, solidifying the band’s reputation on both sides of the Atlantic.

Formed in Provo, Utah, The Aces consist of sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez (lead vocals/guitar and drums), Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), and McKenna Petty (bass). Longtime friends since childhood, the group quickly clicked as songwriters and musicians, evolving into one of alternative pop’s most dynamic acts. Known for their infectious melodies and emotional depth, The Aces continue to carve a unique space in the music industry with their confident and celebratory sound.

With their new music, The Aces turn a corner, fully embracing their queerness, past, and present, while infusing their sound with themes of liberation, boldness, and joy.
