ANNAHSTASIA UNVEILS EMOTIONAL VIDEO FOR “SUNDAY” FOLLOWING SURFACE TENSION EP RELEASE

Following the release of her Surface Tension EP via drink sum wtr, Annahstasia returns with a striking new video for “Sunday.” The visual captures the tension between two partners through movement, ultimately ending with her quiet departure.

Describing the video, Annahstasia explains, “I wanted a visual representation of what it feels like to rummage around in a wound—the animal reactivity, the push and pull of a failed understanding. It’s a dramatized iteration of a final, broken conversation. When love comes at the wrong moment, walking away can feel impossible. But such is the trapping of desire.”

Surface Tension serves as a prelude to her upcoming debut album, set for release later this year. Recorded at Malibu’s Shangri-La studio with producer Jason Lader, the EP shifts from the urgency of her previous work Revival to a more intentional, intimate sound, allowing her commanding vocals to take center stage.

Born Annahstasia Enuke, the Los Angeles-based artist was introduced to the entertainment industry at 17, quickly learning the challenges of creative resilience. Now, she embraces her voice with new purpose. “As a tool of expression, I am able to shape the emotional space around me,” she says.

Through Surface Tension’s three-part narrative, Annahstasia explores love, loss, and self-discovery—where warmth and beauty linger even in heartbreak’s wake.
