LAND OF TALK: APPLAUSE CHEER BOO HISS + THE EP’S

Land of Talk’s 2006 EP Applause Cheer Boo Hiss has finally received the remaster it deserves. After previous label issues that restricted ownership rights, Lizzie Powell’s masterpiece is back in their hands with the support from new label, Saddle Creek.

Along with the reissue comes a second EP L’Adventure Acoustique, first released in 2008. Neither EP was available on vinyl at release, so the compilation is a must-have for long time fans and new ears alike.

And just to add to the excitement, another compilation of Land of Talk’s EPs will be available on vinyl for the first time. This includes 2009’s Fun and Laughter, and 2021’s Calming Night Partner. Have a listen below and get lost in Powell’s exquisite lyricism -
