HOPE TALA UNVEILS DEBUT ALBUM “HOPE HANDWRITTEN”
After months of sold-out headline shows, critical acclaim, and a string of standout tracks, British-Jamaican artist Hope Tala has officially released her highly anticipated debut album, Hope Handwritten, via PMR Records. The 16-track record is a deeply personal and poetic exploration of how writing has shaped her life and fueled her search for hope.
Accompanying the album’s launch is the long-awaited release of physical editions. Hope Handwritten is now available on CD and special double eco-black vinyl, purchasable worldwide through retailers and Tala’s official webshop. Select stores also offer a limited number of exclusive signed prints.
Reflecting on the album’s meaning, Tala explains: “The title carries multiple layers. I write most of my lyrics by hand in a notebook, which inspired Handwritten, and I’ve poured so much of myself into this music, making it feel self-titled in a way. But at its core, the album is about the struggle to hold on to hope.”
In addition to the album release, Tala has announced her global Hope Handwritten Tour, set to kick off this April with performances across the U.S. before heading to Europe and the U.K. later in the year. The tour will culminate in a major headline show at London’s KOKO on November 25th.
